SA proposes new legislation
The South Australia government have proposed changes to improve dog and cat management and welfare in SA that is now open for public consultation. The amendments include: mandatory microchipping, requirements for anyone who breeds to be registered, extended powers for council Authorised Persons and Increased penalties for people who allow their dog to wander or attack.
