Tooth Certificate Scheme
The GSDCA issues Tooth Certificates for dogs which have proven to have lost teeth due to injury or accident under certain circumstances. The loss of a tooth can impact adversely on a dog’s show career.
Due to the fact that missing teeth can also be of an hereditary nature, there are strict criteria to be met in order to obtain a Tooth Certificate under the GSDCA Tooth Certificate Scheme. It must be proven that a normal healthy adult tooth existed prior to breakage or removal (see Regulations)
